Company Sponsored Migration
Company Sponsored Migration is linked to the Temporary Long Stay Business visa allowing overseas employees to work in Australia for a period of time.
Company Sponsored Migration is also associated with the permanent visas that use the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme and the Employer Nomination Scheme visa regimes.
There are limited options that you may wish to consider when considering working temporarily in Australia.
The Temporary Business visa allows you to enter Australia and work for up to
4 years if you are sponsored by an Australian or Overseas Business Sponsor. You do not generally need to have your skills assessed by a Registered Assessing Authority and you can sometimes move from this temporary visa to a more permanent Employer Nomination Scheme visa.
There are regional migration schemes that may also be of interest that will allow you to enter Australia temporarily to work. These visas can lead to permanent residency if you meet the relevant criteria after some time onshore in Australia.
Further information about these visas can be obtained from a My Immigration Manager adviser.
